Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, CT Tech, or Radiology Tech
• CT Technologist certification or registry preferred
• ARRT registration required or preferred based on state and facility requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• State licensure preferred, if applicable
• Experience with EPIC and PACS preferred
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative hospital imaging department

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner
• Position and immobilize patients appropriately to obtain accurate diagnostic images
• Verify all patient and procedural information before completing exams
• Operate CT scanning equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic scans
• Administer contrast agents and perform intravenous injections as needed for procedures
• Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainage procedures, and related interventions
• Maintain working knowledge of CT imaging systems, including PACS and Radiant
• Follow safety protocols, timeout procedures, and infection control standards
• Support cross-coverage needs within the imaging department when required
