- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Call: One weekday call per week and every 5th weekend call
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,440 - $2,620
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Charting System: Epic experience required
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a STEMI / PCI facility required
- ARRT certification required at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ohio radiologic technologist license required; pending Ohio license may be accepted if Michigan license is in hand
- Epic experience required
- Must be STEMI ready and comfortable working in a high-acuity procedural environment
- Experience with IV starts, EKGs, angioplasty, stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and interventional procedures preferred
- Experience with IABP and Impella support preferred
- Ability to work with adult and geriatric patients
- Two references from the last 24 months required
- Must be eligible to work in a travel assignment and comfortable with floating as needed
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist with neuro, vascular, and structural heart cases as needed
- Provide technical support for STEMI, PCI, and invasive diagnostic testing
- Perform and assist with EKG lead placement, IV starts, and procedural preparation
- Work with specialized imaging and procedural equipment while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow
- Float to EP when Cath Lab / IR volume is low, if experienced in electrophysiology procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage and collaborate with the clinical team to meet patient needs
- Deliver high-quality patient care with attention to detail, accuracy, and patient comfort
