Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality mammography imaging and support an established breast imaging program. This role is ideal for a technologist who enjoys delivering compassionate patient care, maintaining imaging excellence, and contributing to a collaborative radiology department with consistent weekday hours and occasional Saturday coverage as needed.

• Weekend Coverage: Saturdays as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography or a similar imaging setting
• Active ARRT certification
• Current Mammography certification
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Massachusetts radiologic technologist license
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging workflows, patient positioning, and image quality standards
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented radiology department

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures accurately and efficiently in a patient-centered environment
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following department protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort, dignity, and optimal imaging results
• Collaborate with radiology and breast imaging staff to support smooth daily operations
• Maintain equipment, documentation, and workflow standards in accordance with department expectations
• Adapt to schedule adjustments and provide Saturday coverage when needed
• Deliver compassionate care and clear communication throughout each patient interaction
