- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts; days, evenings, and rotating weekends
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of CT scanning experience or equivalent radiology experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
- Massachusetts DPH Radiology License required
- ARRT (R) required
- ARRT (CT) preferred, or required within 2 years of hire
- Experience with Toshiba CT scanners is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, independence, and sound clinical judgment
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
- Review physician orders and verify the correct exam prior to testing
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and administer contrast materials as directed
- Position patients properly to ensure optimal image quality and safety
- Operate CT equipment, processing systems, and related computer applications
- Maintain documentation, scheduling, and charge entry with accuracy
- Follow radiation safety practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Support emergency situations, infection control practices, and compliance with hospital policies
