MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience
• Current MRI technologist certification or equivalent credentials
• Active state license or eligibility as required
• Experience performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI exams
• Comfortable working with inpatient and outpatient populations
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy imaging department

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with safety and imaging protocols
• Support a mix of inpatient and outpatient MRI exams
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process clearly
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure accurate image acquisition
• Follow established contrast administration and screening procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
• Collaborate with radiology, imaging, and clinical team members to support excellent patient care
