• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 - $2,790
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Day, evening, and night shifts based on department needs
• Weekend Coverage: Required every week
• Setting: Hospital-based CT imaging in a short-term acute care trauma center
• Charting System: Epic
• Equipment: GE Optima CT660 scanners; GE and Siemens experience preferred
• Float Requirement: May support additional nearby hospital locations as needed

Job Requirements

• 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting required
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Connecticut and Rhode Island licensure required, or ability to obtain both licenses
• Experience with Epic charting required
• GE and Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Strong skills in trauma CT, stroke imaging, and general computed tomography procedures
• Ability to work weekends and adapt to day, evening, and night schedules
• Professional, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging studies in an acute care hospital environment
• Work with a variety of patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Prepare patients for imaging, including contrast administration and IV support as needed
• Operate CT scanners efficiently while maintaining safety and image quality standards
• Support trauma, stroke, emergency, outpatient, and inpatient imaging needs
• Document accurately in Epic and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow
• Follow isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and departmental safety practices
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment and provide dependable weekend coverage
