Job Details

• Position: Mammography Technologist / Mammography Rad Tech
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Assignment
• Setting: On-site outpatient and diagnostic imaging center
• Location: Peabody, Massachusetts
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday required, with a weekday off provided to balance the schedule
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380-$2,550

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of mammography experience required
• ARRT certification in Mammography required
• Active Massachusetts radiologic technologist license required or ability to obtain
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging procedures, patient positioning, and image quality standards
• Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional patient care
• Must be comfortable with a weekday schedule that includes every other Saturday

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams in accordance with established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards
• Prepare patients for breast imaging procedures and explain exams with professionalism and compassion
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic mammography images
• Support workflow in an outpatient imaging department by maintaining exam room readiness and efficient patient flow
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to departmental, regulatory, and quality requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to support timely and accurate imaging results
• Maintain a patient-centered approach in a busy diagnostic setting
