- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift; no weekends and no major holidays
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,400 - $2,580
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program, or an associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program plus 2 years of experience by date of hire
- Current registration in Nuclear Medicine through NMTCB or ARRT (NM)
- At least one advanced certification and corresponding current registry: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR)
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification
- Experience in molecular imaging or nuclear imaging preferred, including SPECT/CT, PET, MR, or optical fusion imaging
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic imaging workflows
- Familiarity with NMIS, RIS, and HIS systems
- Professional, team-oriented approach with excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with accuracy, safety, and professionalism
- Support advanced diagnostic imaging workflows across molecular and nuclear imaging modalities
- Operate within departmental, facility, and regulatory safety standards
- Use imaging and information systems to document and manage patient care effectively
- Communicate clearly with patients, answering questions and helping reduce apprehension
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Assist in training and supporting students or staff as needed
