Job Details

• Setting: Hospital MRI department
• Location: Washington Township, NJ 08012
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 - $2,400
• Schedule Notes: Every 3rd weekend required; up to 4 on-call shifts if needed
• Start Date: 10/5/2026

MRI Technologist Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist or MRI tech experience
• Valid New Jersey radiology or MRI license required at time of submission
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Adult MRI imaging experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain strong attention to detail
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams for adult patients in a hospital setting
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while following all safety protocols
• Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media as needed
• Utilize PACS and Epic systems for charting and image workflow
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support smooth patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused imaging environment
• Support a variety of MRI studies, including brain, abdomen, spine, extremity, and angiographic exams
