• Location: Hazleton, PA 18201
• Setting: Hospital-based CT scan unit
• Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist
• Shift: Night shift, 4x10-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00)
• Shift Duration: 10-hour nights
• Duration: 20 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays; every third weekend required; no call; no floating
• Orientation: 12 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in a community hospital setting required
• Experience supporting adult acute care, emergency department, pediatric outpatient, and Level II trauma imaging preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and contrast administration
• Proficiency with Epic and PACS preferred
• Ability to work independently in a busy hospital imaging environment
• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies for a diverse patient population
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures in a clear, compassionate manner
• Operate CT equipment safely and accurately while following department protocols
• Administer contrast media and support IV placement, venipuncture, and patient preparation as needed
• Maintain radiation safety standards and infection control practices
• Document procedures accurately in Epic and support workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary team members to ensure timely patient care
• Adapt to a variety of CT exams including routine, emergency, and specialized studies
