• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Position Type: Travel Surgical Technologist / OR Tech
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Schedule: Primarily 4x10s, with rotating coverage as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
• Openings: 1

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of related operating room experience required
• National certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience scrubbing cardiac surgery and/or vascular cases required
• Experience with cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant surgery, or endovascular procedures preferred
• Valve replacement experience required
• Experience with robotic thoracic procedures strongly preferred
• Comfort using basic computer systems and web-based applications
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for complex CVOR procedures
• Provide scrubbing support for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and general surgery cases
• Assist with open vascular and endovascular procedures, cardiac transplant cases, and thoracic robotics
• Maintain sterile technique and support safe, efficient surgical workflow
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to promote excellent patient care
• Support on-call coverage for cardiac, transplant, and endovascular cases as assigned
• Adapt to a specialized, high-acuity environment while delivering reliable, team-oriented support
