Floating within the assigned care network is required based on staffing and patient care needs.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license
• RRT or CRT credential required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record preferred
• Ability to care for adult patients and remain comfortable supporting neonatal and pediatric patients when needed
• Recent specialty experience within the last 12 months preferred
• Must be willing to float as needed based on patient care demands
• First-time travelers are accepted, though prior travel respiratory therapist experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult, neonatal, and pediatric patients as appropriate
• Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostics in accordance with departmental protocols
• Assess patient status and respond quickly to changing clinical needs in an acute care setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support safe and efficient patient flow in a busy hospital environment
• Float to assigned affiliated locations within your skillset as needed
• Follow all compliance, safety, and infection-control standards to ensure exceptional patient care
