Description
RRT-NICU
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in New Brunswick, New Jersey
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (1.5 years of experience)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBRC
- NRP
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
Clinical Skills
- Blood gas collection
- Ventilator initiation and management
- BiPAP initiation and management
- High-flow therapy initiation and management
- Code response
- In-house patient transport
- Medication administration
- Chest physiotherapy
Equipment Experience
- Servo-I
- Servo-U
- V60 BiPAP
Patient Population
- Neonatal critical care
- Pediatric patients
Float Expectations
- May float between pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs
- May also float to adult units on the main campus
Scheduling Notes
- All requested time off must be submitted with the application and approved before offer
- First-time travelers are accepted
