Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a travel radiology assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This opportunity is ideal for a dependable Rad Tech who enjoys fast-paced hospital work, overnight shifts, and supporting patient care in an acute care imaging environment. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Radiologic Technologist experience required
- Current X-Ray Technologist certification or equivalent credentials
- Experience in acute care, emergency department, or inpatient imaging preferred
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures and patient positioning
- Ability to work independently on night shift while maintaining a high standard of patient care
- Comfort working in a busy hospital setting with changing priorities
- Must meet all onboarding and credentialing requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
- Prepare patients for imaging exams and explain procedures in a clear, compassionate manner
- Position patients properly to obtain high-quality images while following safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the imaging team to support timely patient care
- Maintain equipment readiness and follow imaging and infection control standards
- Document procedures and maintain accuracy in patient records and imaging workflows
- Support emergency and inpatient imaging needs during overnight hours
