Overview

We are seeking a motivated CT Technologist / CT Tech to support high-quality computed tomography imaging services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. This travel healthcare job is ideal for a detail-oriented radiologic technologist who thrives in a collaborative radiology department and is comfortable working in a busy Level I Trauma Center in New Haven, CT.

Job Requirements

• 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Siemens CT scanner experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current Connecticut CT license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfort working with adult acute care, adult outpatient, and trauma imaging cases
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative radiology team

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies in a busy hospital imaging department
• Complete exams including head, chest, abdomen, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media according to protocol and patient safety standards
• Start peripheral IVs as needed for imaging procedures
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE standards to support patient and staff safety
• Deliver accurate diagnostic imaging services while maintaining excellent patient care and communication
• Collaborate with radiology colleagues, nurses, and providers to support efficient daily workflow
• Adapt to alternating schedules, night shifts, and weekend coverage requirements
