Overview
We are seeking a motivated CT Technologist / CT Tech to support high-quality computed tomography imaging services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. This travel healthcare job is ideal for a detail-oriented radiologic technologist who thrives in a collaborative radiology department and is comfortable working in a busy Level I Trauma Center in New Haven, CT.

Job Requirements
- 2 years of CT technologist experience required
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current Connecticut CT license required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Comfort working with adult acute care, adult outpatient, and trauma imaging cases
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative radiology team
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies in a busy hospital imaging department
- Complete exams including head, chest, abdomen, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to protocol and patient safety standards
- Start peripheral IVs as needed for imaging procedures
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE standards to support patient and staff safety
- Deliver accurate diagnostic imaging services while maintaining excellent patient care and communication
- Collaborate with radiology colleagues, nurses, and providers to support efficient daily workflow
- Adapt to alternating schedules, night shifts, and weekend coverage requirements
