Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Details
- Location: Lancaster, PA 17601
- Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist

- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Not required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,790 - $1,920
Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS required
- Ability to manage ventilators, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, blood gases, and respiratory medication delivery
- Experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, and general floor care
- Experience working with adult, pediatric, nursery, and critical care patients
- Cerner experience preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale preferred
- License in hand preferred 6-8 weeks prior to start
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care across acute care areas of the hospital
- Support patients requiring ventilator management, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Perform and interpret blood gas sampling and related respiratory interventions
- Administer respiratory medications and support treatment plans as ordered
- Deliver care in the ED, critical care, general floor, and nursery settings as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to promote the best possible patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a busy hospital environment
