Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
• ARRT certification required
• ODH licensure required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to function in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles
• Experience with cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures preferred
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting with on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiovascular, cardiac, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating duties with competency
• Support moderate sedation under physician supervision when applicable
• Provide patient care throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure workflows
• Operate and monitor imaging and x-ray acquisition systems according to safety standards
• Accurately document patient data and charges in the electronic medical record
• Maintain inventory and ensure supplies and equipment are properly managed
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Help orient and support new team members and students as needed
• Follow all policies, procedures, and infection control standards to ensure safe patient care
