Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
- ARRT certification required
- ODH licensure required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Ability to function in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles
- Experience with cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting with on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiovascular, cardiac, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating duties with competency
- Support moderate sedation under physician supervision when applicable
- Provide patient care throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure workflows
- Operate and monitor imaging and x-ray acquisition systems according to safety standards
- Accurately document patient data and charges in the electronic medical record
- Maintain inventory and ensure supplies and equipment are properly managed
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Help orient and support new team members and students as needed
- Follow all policies, procedures, and infection control standards to ensure safe patient care
