- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,970
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level III or higher NICU, or 1 year of PICU experience
- Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current BLS certification
- NRP certification required
- PALS preferred
- Experience with Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, extubation, and intubation assist
- Strong neonatal respiratory care skills and comfort working in both neonatal and pediatric settings
- Ability to complete compliance requirements, including required fingerprints and documentation, before the start date
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy support to neonates and pediatric patients in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and deliver specialized respiratory interventions as needed
- Manage noninvasive and invasive respiratory support, including CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, and ventilator support
- Support intubation, extubation, and airway management procedures
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in respiratory needs
- Float between neonatal and pediatric areas based on department needs
- Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, effective, patient-centered care
