Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hyperbaric therapy, wound care, respiratory therapy, or a related clinical setting
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Active Maryland RRT license required at time of submission
  • UHMS 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training required
  • CHT or CHRN preferred
  • Experience with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wound care protocols, and patient safety practices preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a 2:1 patient ratio environment
  • Comfortable supporting adult and geriatric patients with complex wound care and hyperbaric needs

Responsibilities

  • Operate hyperbaric oxygen chambers and related equipment according to training and established clinical protocols
  • Provide safe, compassionate care to patients undergoing hyperbaric oxygen treatment
  • Perform routine chamber cleaning, equipment checks, and maintenance procedures
  • Follow safety standards and regulatory guidelines, including UHMS and NFPA requirements
  • Participate in emergency procedures, drills, and safety readiness activities
  • Support individualized wound care in collaboration with the medical team
  • Monitor patients closely and maintain high standards of infection control and patient education
