Job Details
- Position: Travel Dietitian / Registered Dietitian (RD, RDN)
- Setting: Hospital / Inpatient Dietary Services
- Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Assignment

- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
- Location: Baltimore, MD 21215
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Daily Census: Approximately 10-12 patients
- Charting System: Cerner / PowerChart
Job Requirements
- 2 years of Dietitian experience required
- RD/RDN certification required
- Experience with Cerner charting required
- Short-term acute care experience preferred
- Community hospital, LTAC, and Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nutrition assessment, therapeutic diets, and clinical nutrition interventions
- Valid Maryland or compact license required at time of submission
- References required
- Flu vaccine required, medical exemptions only
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments for adult and geriatric patients
- Develop and update individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and clinical status
- Support therapeutic diet orders, enteral nutrition, and other clinical nutrition interventions
- Monitor intake, tolerance, labs, and nutrition-related outcomes to guide care decisions
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
- Educate patients as appropriate on dietary guidelines, nutrition therapy, and discharge planning
- Document accurately in Cerner / PowerChart in a timely manner
- Maintain a patient-centered approach while managing a consistent daily caseload
