• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Setting: Radiology - Mammography

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program required
• 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• 1 year of mammography experience preferred
• ARRT certification in Mammography required within 2 years of hire
• Registered Technologist credentials in Radiography and Mammography required
• MQSA requirements must be met
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams to help diagnose disease or trauma
• Program mammography equipment for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion
• Prepare, maintain, and operate mammography equipment safely and responsibly
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and best practices at all times
• Perform and document QA/QC testing in accordance with MQSA standards
• Support mobile mammography services when needed, including occasional weekends
• Apply all responsibilities and standards consistently when assigned to mobile mammography operations
