CT Tech Job Requirements

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program
• Current ARRT Radiography registry required
• Current Ohio radiologic technologist license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certification required or obtainable within one year
• At least 2 years of relevant radiology or cardiac cath lab experience required
• Experience with pediatric and adult congenital patients preferred
• Experience with sterile technique preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office or similar software required
• BSN required for consideration
• EPIC charting experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists by scrubbing into procedures as a sterile scrub assistant
• Operate and manage x-ray equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor EP ablation and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients during procedures
• Communicate patient vital signs and EKG data accurately and in real time
• Order, maintain, and organize supplies and par levels
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed to support efficient cath lab operations
• Float to competent units as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support high-quality patient care
