• Setting: Hospital MRI
• Location: Ellsworth, Maine
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts in a rotating Monday-Thursday / Tuesday-Friday pattern
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Rotating
• Hours: 36-40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Patient Volume: Approximately 12-16 patients per day
• Environment: Single MRI room with strong support from leadership and nearby clinical teams

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with both acute care and outpatient MRI preferred
• Valid state license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
• Experience with IV starts
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality imaging standards
• Strong communication, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Comfortable working with adults and some older pediatric patients
• Must be able to manage MRI safety and screening protocols

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, and MedSurg patients
• Produce clear, high-quality MRI images while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Complete exams involving neuro, soft tissue, head/neck/spine, hips, oncology, extremities, joints, abdominal, breast, prostate, and select angiography studies
• Provide IV access support as needed
• Work comfortably in a setting where you may be solo at times, with support available nearby
• Collaborate with radiologists, supervisors, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Follow departmental protocols for patient screening, MRI safety, and exam quality
• Maintain professionalism and flexibility in a rotating schedule
