• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:00 - 16:30)
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 - $2,110
• Call Requirements: 1-2 call days per week with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Holidays as needed
• Orientation: 30 hours
• Time Off: Up to 7 days requested time off preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required; 2 years preferred based on assignment needs
• Open-heart surgery experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT is not accepted
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable supporting complex cardiac procedures in a high-acuity operating room setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrument handling, and surgical safety standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and the OR team during cardiac cases by anticipating instrument and supply needs
• Maintain strict sterile technique and support patient safety throughout procedures
• Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies with accuracy and efficiency
• Support a variety of advanced cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve cases, and vascular interventions
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth room turnover and procedure readiness
• Follow all required safety, infection prevention, and universal protocol practices
• Adapt to occasional floating, holiday coverage, and scheduled call requirements as needed
