Job Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT credentials required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience in adult critical care and pediatric respiratory care preferred
- PICU and NICU experience highly preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong ICU experience preferred
- Ability to float to PICU, Emergency Department, and Adult Critical Care based on need
Responsibilities
- Perform blood gas collection and interpretation support
- Initiate and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Respond to codes and assist in urgent respiratory situations
- Provide in-house patient transport as needed
- Administer respiratory medications per protocol
- Perform chest physiotherapy and airway clearance support
- Work with equipment such as Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP systems
- Support safe, high-quality care across adult and pediatric patient populations
- Float between assigned units while maintaining flexibility and professionalism
