Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
  • Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT credentials required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Experience in adult critical care and pediatric respiratory care preferred
  • PICU and NICU experience highly preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Strong ICU experience preferred
  • Ability to float to PICU, Emergency Department, and Adult Critical Care based on need

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood gas collection and interpretation support
  • Initiate and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
  • Respond to codes and assist in urgent respiratory situations
  • Provide in-house patient transport as needed
  • Administer respiratory medications per protocol
  • Perform chest physiotherapy and airway clearance support
  • Work with equipment such as Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP systems
  • Support safe, high-quality care across adult and pediatric patient populations
  • Float between assigned units while maintaining flexibility and professionalism
