• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,080
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend rotation, with call and holiday requirements

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC or equivalent certifying body
• Current BLS certification required
• Connecticut RRT license or ST RRT license required
• EPIC experience required
• Prior travel respiratory therapy experience required
• NRP highly desired
• Ability to work effectively with adult patients in respiratory, cardiac, orthopedic, ICU, ED, med-surg, telemetry, detox, psych, and NICU environments as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care for adult patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions
• Perform respiratory therapy duties across multiple hospital units as needed
• Float to ICU, ED, and general floor settings within clinical competency
• Support patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented acute care hospital environment
• Participate in weekend rotation, call coverage, holiday coverage, and additional hours as needed to maintain unit coverage
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
