• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,210-$5,590
• Location: Camden, New Jersey 08103
• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Call: 1 call shift per week
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Perfusionist experience required
• Experience supporting cardiovascular surgery and cardiac procedures in the operating room
• Current and active Perfusionist licensure and/or certification as required by the state
• Strong knowledge of extracorporeal circulation equipment, heart-lung machines, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts, participate in call coverage, and rotate weekends
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage heart-lung machines and related perfusion equipment during cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patient physiological parameters and respond appropriately throughout surgical cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical staff to support safe, efficient care
• Prepare, test, and maintain perfusion equipment to ensure readiness and compliance with clinical standards
• Document perfusion procedures and patient data accurately and thoroughly
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation as scheduled
• Support high-quality patient outcomes through adherence to established protocols and best practices
