• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830-$1,970
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotation with permanent staff
• Orientation: 2 days to 1 week
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Care Areas: ICU, ER, L&D, Med-Surg, Psych, recovery room, sleep lab, and more as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Strong ICU experience and ventilator management skills are essential
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS required
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the care team
• Comfortable floating to all covered units and patient care areas
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to be honest about skills and ask questions when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy support across inpatient units, including ICU, ER, labor and delivery, med-surg, psych, recovery, and sleep lab
• Manage ventilators and support patients requiring advanced respiratory care
• Draw and interpret ABGs, including samples from arterial lines
• Assist with bronchoscopies, codes, and rapid responses
• Support labor and delivery and pediatric-related respiratory needs such as blender and humidifier setup
• Assist with intubations and patient stabilization/transfer as needed
• Adapt to changing assignments and provide coverage wherever respiratory services are needed
• Maintain a high standard of safety, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced acute care environment
