Job Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent hospital CT technologist experience required
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Connecticut and Rhode Island license eligibility required; ability to obtain both is essential
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment required
• Strong Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and call coverage as needed
• Comfort working in a trauma center and stroke center environment
• Must be able to float between affiliated locations in Connecticut and Rhode Island

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate
• Operate GE Optima CT660 and other CT scanner equipment safely and efficiently
• Support imaging for emergency, trauma, inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and pediatric populations
• Maintain excellent patient care, communication, and workflow during overnight shifts
• Perform venipuncture, IV starts, and related imaging support tasks as needed
• Accurately document studies and patient information in Epic
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and trauma center protocols
• Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, quality care
