• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• On-Call: None
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,970
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a Level III or higher NICU, or 1+ year of PICU experience
• Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, and NRP
• PALS preferred
• Experience with neonatal respiratory therapy and pediatric respiratory support preferred
• Skills in Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, extubation, and intubation assist
• Comfort working with neonates and floating between neonatal and pediatric care areas as needed
• Pennsylvania fingerprints required prior to start
• Valid state license/certification and references required at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for neonates in a busy NICU environment
• Support both neonatal and pediatric patients based on facility needs
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal respiratory interventions
• Perform and support airway management, including intubation assistance and extubation
• Set up and manage noninvasive ventilation modalities such as Bubble CPAP and BiPAP
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Monitor patient response and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and alarms
• Maintain accurate documentation in the facility’s preferred charting system
