• Position: MRI Technologist / MRI Tech
• Setting: Hospital-based Magnetic Resonance Imaging department
• Location: Scranton, PA 18510
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: NOC, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 - $2,400
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• No Call: Yes
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Holiday Coverage: Christmas holiday coverage may be required

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of MRI Technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital
• Experience working with Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI systems, including Aera, Sola, Skyra, or Vida
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations safely and efficiently in a hospital setting
• Operate advanced MRI equipment while maintaining image quality and workflow standards
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain imaging processes clearly and professionally
• Work closely with radiology, nursing, and clinical teams to support accurate diagnostic care
• Follow established protocols for patient safety, equipment use, and documentation
• Contribute to a smooth overnight schedule while providing dependable radiology coverage for the department
