Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – Hospital Contract in Easton, Maryland

Interventional Radiology Technologist contract opportunity in Easton, MD for an experienced IR Tech with scrub and circulating experience. Join a fast-paced special procedures team in a community hospital setting on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Job Details

• Setting: Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures / Hospital Contract
• Location: Easton, Maryland
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Shift: 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Approximately 8-10 shifts per month, including nights and weekends for urgent or emergent cases
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,740 - $2,950
• Environment: Moderate-to-high volume procedural suite with adult and geriatric patients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of strong Interventional Radiology experience required
• Experience with IR scrub and circulating duties required
• Cath Lab scrub experience strongly preferred
• Active Maryland license required at time of submission
• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS and ACLS required
• RCIS may be considered
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Must be comfortable floating within IR and Cath Lab specialty areas as needed
• Willingness to work on-call, holidays, and occasional weekends as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Support a busy interventional radiology suite with scrub and circulation duties
• Assist with angioplasty, thrombectomy, and dialysis access interventions
• Prepare patients and maintain a sterile field during procedures
• Support placement and maintenance of PICC lines, ports, tunneled catheters, and other central access devices
• Assist with paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy procedures
• Operate and support imaging and procedural equipment, including fluoroscopy systems and related devices
• Monitor patients closely during procedures and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Float within scope to assist in Cath Lab procedures when needed
• Maintain inventory, equipment readiness, and room setup for daily procedures
