• Position: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist
• Setting: Hospital-based acute care, Trauma Level 2
• Employment Type: Travel CT Tech
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 11/9/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 - $2,510
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Location: Melrose, MA 02176

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of CT technologist experience preferred
• Current Massachusetts radiologic technologist license required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging workflows, safety standards, and departmental protocols
• Experience with GE VCT and Evo/Evolution equipment preferred
• Working knowledge of MEDITECH, PACS, and image reconstruction tools is helpful

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans accurately and efficiently in accordance with hospital and trauma imaging protocols
• Prepare, warm up, and operate CT equipment while completing quality assurance checks
• Position patients, explain procedures, and provide clear guidance throughout imaging exams
• Adjust and manipulate images to meet diagnostic standards, including windowing, reformats, and reconstructions
• Ensure scans are correctly labeled and documented with all required patient and exam information
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and the Emergency Department regarding wet readings and urgent findings
• Restore prior exams, burn CDs when needed, and support radiologist workflow
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized work areas to support patient flow and quality expectations
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist with clerical or other duties as needed
