CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930–$2,080
• Location: Lancaster, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based CT imaging
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, typically 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: September 29, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, ending December 29, 2026
• Work Arrangement: On-site

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging; two years of experience is preferred
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved program
• Current ARRT registration in radiography and computed tomography (CT)
• Current licensure or authorization to practice as a radiologic technologist in the state of Ohio
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to safely lift, move, position, and transport patients
• Strong communication, teamwork, patient care, and attention-to-detail skills

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations according to approved healthcare provider orders
• Operate CT scanners, related medical imaging equipment, and facility computer systems
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction and established protocols
• Prepare completed CT examinations for radiologist interpretation and review images for quality control
• Assist physicians with invasive and special procedures involving CT imaging
• Transport, move, and position patients safely and appropriately throughout examinations
• Provide effective handoff communication and support continuity of patient care
• Participate in CT quality assurance and quality control activities
• Maintain a safe, organized imaging environment and ensure adequate supplies are available
