CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current ARRT certification in radiologic technology or computed tomography, as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active New Hampshire licensure or applicable compact-state eligibility at the time of submission
• Recent experience performing diagnostic CT examinations in a hospital setting
• Ability to meet all facility and state credentialing requirements
• Strong patient-care, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• First-time travel radiologic technologists are welcome to apply
• Experience with Cerner is preferred but not required

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and provide compassionate care throughout the medical imaging process
• Operate Canon 640-slice CT scanners and maintain a high standard of diagnostic image quality
• Follow radiation safety practices, infection-control standards, and CT department protocols
• Review imaging orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate exam preparation and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Monitor patients during CT examinations and respond appropriately to clinical changes
• Maintain accurate records and complete imaging exams in a timely manner
