CT Technologist Job Details

• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift
• Shift: 10-hour overnight shifts, approximately 9:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 1, 2026
• Weekend Coverage: Weekend rotation
• On-Call: Not required
• CT Equipment: Two GE 64-slice CT scanners

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
• ARRT certification
• Computed Tomography certification or license
• Current Massachusetts state license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work overnight shifts and participate in a weekend rotation
• Strong commitment to patient safety, diagnostic image quality, and professional collaboration

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations safely and accurately in a hospital radiology and trauma center setting
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and cooperation
• Operate CT scanners and follow established computed tomography imaging protocols
• Adjust imaging techniques as appropriate to support diagnostic-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure
• Verify patient information, review imaging orders, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow infection prevention, radiation safety, and departmental standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
• Support the needs of a Level II trauma center and respond effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
