Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts

• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights

• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital imaging department

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working as a CT Technologist, Computed Tomography Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist, including experience performing diagnostic X-ray examinations
• Current ARRT certification with CT qualifications
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• CT Technologist or Computed Tomography certification as required for the assignment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively during overnight shifts
• Radiation safety awareness and willingness to use required radiation-monitoring equipment

CT and X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography examinations according to established protocols and safety standards
• Provide diagnostic X-ray services as part of the scheduled imaging coverage
• Prepare patients for CT and X-ray examinations, explain procedures, and promote comfort and safety
• Verify patient information, imaging orders, and examination protocols before procedures
• Operate and monitor CT and radiographic equipment while maintaining image quality
• Document examinations accurately in EPIC and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the appropriate clinical team
• Follow radiation protection, infection prevention, and department safety procedures
