Radiation Therapist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Radiation Therapist
• Current ARRT certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care in a hospital or oncology setting

Radiation Therapy Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to established treatment plans and clinical protocols
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
• Verify patient identity, treatment parameters, and positioning before and during radiation therapy procedures
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and communicate relevant observations to the radiation oncology care team
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and support radiation therapy quality assurance and patient safety standards
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients and their families throughout the treatment journey
