CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Willoughby, Ohio, near Cleveland and Lake Erie
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630–$1,750
• Contract: 13 weeks, November 15, 2026–February 13, 2027
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital CT department within a busy Level III community hospital
• Shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., Thursday through Saturday
• Shift Duration: 12-hour overnight shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• CT Equipment and Systems: Canon 64-slice CT, Epic, and Sectra PACS
• Work Environment: Primarily independent overnight coverage with an X-ray technologist on-site for clinical support

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Computed Tomography Technologist
• Current CT Technologist certification and/or license eligible for practice in Ohio
• Demonstrated competency operating CT equipment, preferably including Canon 64-slice systems
• Experience with electronic health records and PACS; Epic and Sectra experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while exercising sound clinical judgment
• Current identification and required professional credential documentation

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations safely, accurately, and efficiently according to established imaging protocols
• Prepare patients for CT scans, explain procedures, and provide compassionate care throughout the exam
• Operate and assess CT equipment while maintaining diagnostic image quality and patient safety
• Review imaging orders, verify patient information, and document procedures in Epic
• Process, organize, and transmit diagnostic images using Sectra PACS
• Work independently for the majority of the overnight shift and collaborate with the on-site X-ray technologist as needed
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and departmental policies
