Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
- The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with specialized certifications including Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
- The hospital has 199 beds and offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current CPI certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
