Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (guaranteed)
Weekend Hours: On call
Call Requirements: More than 12 days on call

Department: Cardiac Cath Lab (Interventional Cardiology)
Number of Openings: 1
Float Requirements: Interventional Radiology (on occasion)
Number of Beds: 90
Patient Population: Adult
Equipment: GE Fluoroscopy, transitioning to CHANGE for hemodynamics
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
Procedures Covered: Cath lab, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), tilt table testing
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Coronary artery disease (CAD)
Required Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Interventional Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab)
Preferred Skills: Experience with manifold systems, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), Impella device, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), pre/post unit care
Personality Fit: Team player
Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

This role requires flexibility to float to Interventional Radiology occasionally
On-call availability is required for more than 12 days during the contract
Candidate must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment and performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Note: Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
