Description

Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No regular weekend requirements; occasional assistance on Saturdays may be needed
Facility is a 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness
Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
Patient ratio: 1 PT to 6 patients
Common diagnoses treated: Stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, debility, hip fractures
Rehabilitation programs provide customized, intense treatment tailored to individual recovery needs

Work Environment & Equipment

Department: Therapy
Equipment includes Lite gait trainers, walkers, Sci Fit machines, treatment tables
Electronic Health Record system: Rehab Connect
Shift type: Day shift
Weekly hours: Approximately 35-40 hours

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Physical Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
Current BLS certification

Additional Information

No call or float requirements
