Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Labor & Delivery)

Location: Mayfield, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel

Department: Labor and Delivery
Number of Beds: 8
Patient Population: Obstetrics, Nursery, Occasional Gynecology Surgery, Occasional Breast Reduction, Abdominoplasty
Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN Standards
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
Call Requirements: As Needed
Float Requirements: As Needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Labor and Delivery charge nurse roles
OB/GYN nursing experience

Orientation & Work Culture

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Professional demeanor required; no casual attire allowed
Scrub color: Any

Additional Notes

Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
The facility is a 107-bed, all-private room, Joint Commission-accredited hospital serving a broad regional population
The role involves working in a facility that offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including a birthing center and wound care center

This position is ideal for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN seeking a travel assignment with a well-established acute care hospital.
