Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Job Summary
Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. The role involves performing plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. The tech will document patient care, monitor and communicate patient conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care. Patient and family education and advocacy for patient well-being are also key responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Facility includes a 32-bed Emergency Department, 29-bed inpatient rehab, 15-bed surgical suite, and imaging services.
- The Cardiac Cath Lab is part of a larger medical center with multiple specialty centers.
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
- Dress code: Scrubs provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification

- Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
