Registered Nurse (Rehabilitation) - Travel Assignment

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend (Friday through Sunday)
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed

Job Description

Work in a 14 or 12-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit focused on recovery from severe injury or illness.
Provide specialized, intense rehabilitation tailored to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Patient population: Adults aged 18 years and older.
Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1 RN to 7 patients.
Utilize equipment such as EKG machines and bladder scanners.
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Weekend shifts only (Friday-Sunday).
Critical thinking skills are important for this role.
Scrub color: Royal blue.
Parking available on the outer perimeter of the building (patient/family spaces reserved).
