Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Elko, Nevada

Travel contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit and Patient Population

Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
Patient population: Adults and newborns
Unit beds: 15 total (6 Labor & Delivery, 9 Postpartum)
Level 1 nursery with postpartum couplet care
Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards

Work Schedule

Shift: Varies (see position details)
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
No call requirements
Float requirements: May float to other departments based on census and needs

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring

Required Education and Experience

Valid RN license in Nevada
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with neonate patients and nursery experience
