Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy for adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
- Work within a 50-bed acute rehabilitation hospital focused on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life.
- Deliver customized, individualized rehabilitation programs including functional interventions and group/concurrent therapy modes.
Schedule & Hours
- Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Workweek: Tuesday through Saturday (altered workweek Sunday through Thursday noted)
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- No call requirements
Patient Population & Environment
- Adult patients with neuro, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), and cardio-pulmonary diagnoses
- Patient-to-therapist ratio: approximately 1:5-7 depending on acuity
- Facility equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology including Smart Car, In-Motion Arm Bionik, Saebo, TBI gym, transfer rooms, outdoor functional courtyard, and EKSO (available soon)
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
Preferred Skills
- Experience with functional interventions
- Experience providing group and concurrent therapy sessions

- Parking available on-site (side or back of building)
