Description

Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Kennewick, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Work in a 14-bed Medical ICU on the 2nd floor.
Patient population primarily includes sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma cases.
Patient ratio is 1:2, CN free of patients.
Equipment occasionally includes IABP.
Electronic Health Record system used: Paragon.
Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Weekend hours: every other weekend.
No call requirements.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and Washington Suicide Prevention.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Located in southeastern Washington serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland).
Facility is a teaching hospital with 111 beds offering a variety of services including ED, Family Medicine, Ortho/Joint replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Lab, and Diagnostic Imaging.
The area offers recreational opportunities including golf courses, parks, and is part of Washington Wine Country.
Travel distance requirement: must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel.

Orientation Dates for 2026 (New Employee Orientation)

Multiple dates available from January through December (specific dates provided by employer).
