Travel RN Opportunity – ICU Specialty

Location: Kennewick, Washington


Position Details

  • Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Number of Openings: 1

Facility & Unit Information

  • Facility Type: Teaching Hospital
  • Unit: Medical ICU (2nd Floor)
  • Number of Beds: 14
  • Patient Ratios: 1:2, CN free of patients
  • Patient Population: Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases
  • Common Patient Conditions: Sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma cases
  • Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years ICU experience required
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NIH Certification
  • Licenses: Registered Nurse License (RN)
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Medical ICU experience
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
