Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Hickory, North Carolina

Telemetry Unit with 24 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1
Patient population: Generalized cardiac patients, ages young adult to elderly adult
Equipment used: Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, Cerner EHR
Unit culture: Family-oriented

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Cardiac
Number of openings: 2
Shift: Primarily day and afternoon shifts
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: Every other weekend
Call requirements: None
Float requirements: May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac specialty nursing
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification
Registered Nurse License required
Must have experience with Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo equipment
Preferred experience with Cerner EHR system
Must have Meditech experience
Must have Cerner experience

Additional Information

Dress code: Any color scrubs allowed
No unacceptable attire specified

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Notes

This is a travel position requiring candidates to be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rates.
